Representation Essay
In this essay i will be talking about the representation scream queens, the final girl, religion and sexuality , hegemony and teen punishment, and the monster. during this essay i will be questioning and explaining who they are what they mean and why they are important to horror. I would say that my trailer is misogynistic due to the fact that there are are no females in the trailer which could connote patriarchy and male dominance. The monster in the trailer could represent how males are in society and how they try to dominate everyone and everything. Firstly out of male gaze or scream queens i would say that our trailer applies to male gaze as although we don't have females in our trailer that we objectify we do have a view from male only perspectives, in my trailer all the camera shots were from either mine or Daniels point of view allowing the viewer to see from a male dominant view. This view is seen in the woods through out the trailer and you can see people dying and how
